Maximizing your clickthrough rates (CTR) with Google Adwords can help you create the most cost-effective
strategy in your marketing efforts, and there are several ways to get started. Perry Marshall, an internet marketing pioneer and Google Adwords educator, encourages marketers to employ a split testing strategy to monitor and track results. Split testing helps you determine what specific keywords and keyphrases work particularly well for your target market, and running two or more ads at a time can help you steadily increase your click through rate and help you understand what your ideal customer’s key needs, wants and desires.
In addition to a Google Adwords campaign, you can fine-tune your online marketing efforts with a split-testing initiative on other areas of the site. Our culture loves a good story. Stories are how information, principles, traditions, historical events have been passed down for generations. Oprah has built a billion dollar mega corporation simply by telling ’stories’ of the human kind. Ronald Reagan, considered by many to be one of the greatest politicians was a master story teller. The unconscious mind seems to work more with patterns that details, so stories and metaphors can be very useful to communicate ideas to the unconscious mind. When it comes to selling or print material the same holds true.

So how important is clarity?
Let’s see what peak performance legend Tony Robbins has to say!
Identity from Tony Robbins at www.tonyrobbinstraining.com
In my marketing practice I constantly preach that you must spend time creating strategy before implementing tactics. I can’t tell how many times I see small business owners spending money on advertising that doesn’t serve their market or really align with with their desired position.
Usually that is a direct result of poor planning a no clarity.
As a speaker for Anthony Robbins and I am constantly immersed in the peak performance arena. There are many parallels to peak performance when it comes to human development and peak performance marketing.

I have been receiving lots of questions about how to make your website Search Engine Optimized (SEO).
The first question you have to ask yourself is what type of platform do you want to use? A regular HTML website? or a blog platform? I suggest a blog for numerous reasons.
- Once up and running it is far easier to maintain and update.
- The search engines are giving preference to blog content versus generic website content (all other factors the same.)
- Tutorials on how to use, design, optimize your blog are abundant.
